Lucky

Luck is what we named the baby bunny that fell into our pool. For those who don't know, bunnies have a very rapidly beating heart, and unfortunately means they can have heart attacks very easily. We were sitting at a table and we saw something doing summer salts in the pool. We jumped up and ran outside only to find a little baby bunny had fallen into our pool! We grabbed the baby bunny and wrapped it in towels. Then we started rubbing its heart. The bunny was clearly in shock and we weren't sure if it would make it. After this we brought it inside. We had prepared a rubber made tub with, a heating pad wrapped in towels, some lettuce. (we watched it the whole time while the heating pad was there just to make sure it wouldn't chew it) We kept it overnight just to make sure and in the morning... all the lettuce was gone and there were turds! Lucky's digestive system was working! This was a good sign, then it hopped out of the bucket! We knew it was time for him to go back in the wild!
