Saiga antelope

The Saiga Antelope is an incredible creature with its odd appearance yet incredible skill. It lives in various parts of central Asia and in federal parts of Russia. They eat grasses, herbs, and shrubs. They weigh 52-157 pounds. Saigas are 24 to 31 inches tall and 3.3 to 4.6 pounds. In the summer their coat turns a yellow reddish color and in the winter their coat turns a pale grayish color. A weird nose helps them filter out the dust in the air during summer, and In winter It warms frigid air before It reaches their lungs. males are larger than females and have spirally horns coming out of its head. They also can reach incredible speeds of 50 miles per hour. Female Saigas often give birth to twins this is a survival strategy in a harsh environment. Saigas can travel in thousands when migrating. Another fun fact is males can grow their horns back if they survive mating season. Saiga calves can also walk 15 to 30 minutes after being born. Their nose can not only warm air, but they can cool it too. They can also endure in weather at 104 degrees Fahrenheit and -40 degrees Fahrenheit. They also have 360 degree vision to spot predators.
