Dholes are incredible animals that have a distinctive cool color. Dholes have rounded ears and long bushy tails. They weigh 46 pounds and they live up to 10 years. They eat medium to large ungulates, rodents, and birds. They can run up to 45 miles per hour. They have a bite force of 1250 PSI. Dholes are excellent climbers and swimmers. They have 40 teeth that they use for ripping flesh of animals. When a Dhole is in a large pack they can take down a Tiger together that just proves how efficient teamwork in wild canines is. When Dholes hunt and there close they produce a high pitch whistle like sound that helps the frequency travel close so they can communicate when close by. When they are not by each other while hunting they produce a low frequency sound that allows the pitch to travel farther so communication is even more effective while hunting. Mating seasons for Dholes are between the months October and January.
