The black Caiman is an endangered species but has other abilities are going to wow you. They are 7 to 16 feet long and weigh 209 to 276 pounds. The color helps with camouflage during there nocturnal hunts. Black caimans are apex predators they eat piranhas, perch, and catfish. they lay up to 65 eggs but usually 30 to 60. Hatching occurs 42 to 90 days. A marsh Is an Ideal habitat for a new hatchling. They live 50 to 80 years long.
