Black Backed Jackal

Though they stick to these prey species if a larger animal is sick they will take it down. A pair was observed hunting a sick bull rhinoceros. The Black backed Jackal lives in coastal arid areas in Africa. Some predators of the Black Backed Jackal are The Side striped Jackal, African wolf, Spotted Hyena, Honey Badger, Brown hyena, Painted dog, and leopards. The black Backed Jackal can reach an astonishing speed of 40 miles per hour and have a bite force of 180 PSI!
